Considered one of the key figures in contemporary Spanish literature, Ana Maria Matute has managed to put the imagination at the center of her writing, both in her realistic and fantastic work. The novelist and director of the Cervantes Institute New York, Eduardo Lago, will chat with the author of Olvidado rey Gudú (Forgotten King Gudú), a language scholar and Cervantes Prize winner, about the role of the imagination as a territory where different cultures converge.
