The Instituto Cervantes Libraries Network is proud to announce to all its members the launching of a new collection of audio-books accessible online. This project intends to create a new approach to Spanish reading and it is especially recommended for students.
The service is provided by Audiomol which is one of the leading Spanish websites for book downloads. Narrations are done by one voice only, without any background music, and they present uncut versions of the original. They are presented in a digital format and can be downloaded as MP3 files.
This service includes: · classic books
· contemporary novels
· literature for children
· philosophy books
Each audiobook is identified by the image on the cover, its basic identification data, a summary of the contents, the name of the narrator, the total length of the file and a demonstration/sample.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUR AUDIOBOOK
Registered users can access the downloading audiobooks program through their library’s access menu. You will need to use your library’s username and password. The service will provide access to the complete list of audio-books. Users will be able to download up to two times each of the books.
To download an audiobook, users must press “Download”. Downloading time will depend on your internet broadband provider, but the average time should be around one minute per 10 MB. Once the process has been completed, you will be able to listen to it on your computer, burn it in a CD or transfer it to an MP3 device such as a mobile phone or any other MP3 player.
